What is it about old things that we love so much?  We yearn for the new fangled invention before tomorrow has time to arrive, yet we cherish the old, the original and the unique.  Antiques are so much more interesting to photograph too.

  1. It’s a pleasant surprise when we stumble upon one.

  2. Sweet, I really like this.

  3. I can’t believe that i am seeing that old typewriter again. It was 59 years ago that i had to learn to touch type with a string around my neck and then the typewriter had to be covered by a cloth tying the string around the back. What trouble i would get myself in when i tried to look at the keys.
I had been given one to take home to practice. It turned out to be a good thing.
really because i contracted the measles. During that time my mother kept me busy typing out old recipes and i still have them in my cooking book and i use them quite frequently
