Tasmania was also home to a deluge of water, when the rest of the east mainland of Australia was flooding.  This extra rain made waterfall viewing all the more spectacular, and wet!  While on a short trip with 2 friends in Tasmania we made a detour (made long by following a herd of cows most of the way) to St Columbia Falls (just outside St Helens).  The walk to the falls took us over a beautiful stream.  I couldn’t resist stopping for a photo.  This is one of my first attempts at long exposures of moving water (i.e. the others did not work so well!) and so by the time you see another attempt, I am hoping you will really notice an improvement.
