As the sun rises beyond the horizon and hits the side of the sand dune, they glow, like a desert fire.

Namib-Naukluft Park really held a spell over me.  What can I say?  Those red sand dunes drew me in and had me up at 5am each morning to make sure I wouldn’t miss anything.

  2. Great pictures. We just got back from Namibia. Did you see Dune 45? Which one is that?

    • Thank you Evez. How much did you love the sand dunes? I thought they were incredible, and so much fun to walk up and run down. Dune 45 is the dune 45 kms along the road from the main gate to Sossusvlei. It is the last picture in my other blog here: http://itchierfeet.wordpress.com/2013/03/26/photographing-sossusvlei/
