There is so much to experience in Rome, that I think staying out late to take it all in appears to be the norm.  Coming into summer, I found myself hanging around the Colosseum in Rome until almost midnight to get this shot.  I love long exposure images at night, there is something magical about the way light is transformed.

  1. What a great place to do a long exposure shot – the fast, modern movement of traffic in contrast to the still, ancient coliseum. Nicely done!

  2. Awesome

  3. Great shot! Once I get a tripod, I will try the long exposure technique. Thank for sharing your beautiful work!

    • Thank you. If you ever find yourself there without a tripod there are a couple spots it is possible to get nice shots by putting your camera on a wall. But this shot is really only possible with a tripod.
